Izzz a music time?
Rob Hurt
Music Video Notes:
On location in Austria, Vokab Kompany and Staff chose to use a smaller budget with this film production. "I felt it really created a dynamic between us and the home viewer where we both are one and yet a million tiny particles moving through space and time, but where space and time no longer exist and thus become one. But they are still different and unique. And also the same. But a little different." says self nominated film producer Xavier Francis VanBurgdennonen.

Burkey's response to Robbiesblog "Not Drama, Emotion"
While i appreciate my partners words of wisdom, I totally disagree with the Kanye comments. I feel he is a poser, with little emotion and all drama. His actions at the MTV music awards, well, It's a vote show... and if people acted how they felt at these, it would do away with them all together. It would be chaos, cuz everybody has their idea who should win...Kanye is a show off and bully, and he disrespected the music industry and it's fans by putting his opinion above those who voted, in fact by doing that he is stating that his opinion is better than everyone elses. In music there is no right and wrong, as it is based on opinion and taste. In sports there most certainly is a rt and wrong.....and Serena, well she was being real...the call was wrong and it cost her a championship.... Every sports caster in America agreed that it was a bad call, and the video clearly shows that the judge was wrong...as for both Mj's, bob and i agree on the king of pop, he was the greatest performer who never got a chance to be a person....and Jordan, that fire was what made him the best and must be hard to put out...Go celtics 2010 booyaaaa.

Not Drama, Emotion.
All successful, all professionals and all role models in their chosen profession. But overall, they're all human. And acting very real.
Jordan's H.O.F. speech was a tad funny and raw, while Serena was a little scary. And then Kanye... well to me that was Kanye, for better or worse. At first I was like, "damn, why's he always so bitter. I'm sure Beyonce can stick up for herself. And if not, her man is Jigga. "
My truth is, I know it's great to show humbleness, professionalism, and be the bigger man but, often emotions take over and the truest of feelings shall emerge. That's real emotion. Not some conjured up media magic made up of make-up and molded into a "ready, aim, shoot me I'm on film for perfection" look.
Of course these awards and competitions are an honor and I am not saying acting like a child is ok. It's just nice to see raw emotion arise. Especially on a network like MTV where Music Television just doesn't fit into our attention span any more. It needs to be more of a "reality" program. Ya know, 16, 18, 20 yr olds in bars, clubs, new porsche, Uptown Manhattan flats where the word "Socialite" is a career goal now and further, you can actually get paid.
Me bitching... not often. But a little sick of my mislead youth, little brothers and sisters, ones I do feel compelled to germinate with some snips of what I think I know so far. Yeah, gotta long way to grow and go and seeing a few whiners being human this weekend actually motivated me to blah blah. Hide in a blog...? perhaps. But I am gonna put this on my Facebook and Myspace, and facespace and all other "socialite" networks where the topic is often "me me me" and see see see what we we we can do to maybe shake it up a bit.
The best thing I saw, heard, read this weekend was from one respected musician to another (on MTV, I know?).
On Michael Jackson's passing.- “All I could think about in that moment was I had abandoned him. That we had abandoned him. That we had let this magnificent creature who had once set the world on fire slip through the cracks. Most of us had turned our backs on him. … There will never be anyone like him again. He was a king.” - Madonna
